Liz-E has been a promoter since the age of 19. While suffering from severe social disengagement and boredom on the campus of the Prestigious Wellesley College; the eccentric and connected Liz ventured to nightclubs multiple nights a week. On campus she was very active in student life and ensured that as many “BLACK” events happened on a very “non-Black campus.” Her social skills and ability to bring hundreds of students and community residents to the campus caught the attention of local promoters…the rest is history.
For almost 8 years, Liz promoted under her company name E1live Events with an Edge. In 2008, after deciding that there was a very serious need for urban professionals to be able to attend quality events other than club nights she then developed Dstination Lifestyle & Entertainment Group. At its core, Dstination was truly about Liz’s desire to create events that would bring people together in a creative manner, have a worthwhile cause to support and change the way people socialize. Dstination was about being THEE desired destination. Not being the destination that won by default.
Today , Dstination Lifestyle & Entertainment Group is Boston’s go to event production company for events that are large, significant and socially relevant to the urban audience. Dstination produces and promotes comedy shows, concerts, celebrity events and conscious building programs and activities in New England.
In 2009 & 2010, Liz of Dstination Lifestyle served as the Director of Promotions for Hot97boston.com where she led a team in promoting Hip-Hop, R&B and Dancehall Djs, radio contests, give-a-ways and the leading weekly/monthly events geared to the “urban” marketplace in Boston. This included events for clients such as The House of Blues, Wilbur Theatre, Showcase Live, and The Wonderland Ballroom.
In 2011, Dstination has expanded to the New York City area to continue designing and producing events that change the way socialites socialize. In the Fall of 2011, Liz returned to Boston and to creating super events for Boston and promoting large scale concerts and events.
In 2012, Liz is returning to social entrepreneurial and philanthropic events, special events and introducing innovative events to the New England scene. In 2013, Mz.Liz returned with a rebranded company, back to radio now on Big City 101.3 fm ‘s Good Life Morning Show. She continues to produce events, infusing social activism.
If you want an event done right from the beginning to the end you hire Liz. Period.
