Today, Boston lays to rest its 3rd young person under age 25 in a week due to murder. At the Live and Let Live event Rashad’s sister spoke eloquently about the loss a family endures, the friends and an entire community’s loss when one person’s life is taken. I want to thank all the attendees who made it possible to make a donation to the family during this difficult time and remember the fight has just begun. Starting peace isn’t a one person, one day job. It takes a whole city. Black/white, Rich/ poor and connected/ disconnected to say no more bloodshed on these streets. Live and Let Live.
