Back to School Basketball Tournament for Boston Youth

Each Child to Receive Book Bag filled with School supplies and a Free Haircut.

Boston, MA September 1, 2012:  The B.A.U.C (Boston Athletes United for Change) will be hosting a Back to School Basketball tournament for Middle School kids at the Tobin Community Center located at 1481 Tremont St in Roxbury, MA from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on 9/1. Each child will receive a book bag donated by FedEx and filled with school supplies donated by the Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis Foundation. Everything is Real Barbershop of Roxbury will also be on site giving each child a free haircut at the Tobin. Music artist Jim Jones has donated clothes from his new clothing line Vampire Life to be awarded to the winning team. Reebok also came on board in the form of a donation to make the whole event possible, along with FedEx providing shirts for the participants. Jared Dudley formerly of Boston College and now of the National Basketball Association’s Phoenix Suns will be at the event to talk with the youth.
